Hamilton earned Bachelor of the Arts in mathematics with a minor in philosophy at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, where in 2009, she received the Outstanding Alumni Award by Earlham College

Grace Hopper graduated from Vassar College with degrees in math and physics. Then she earned a masters degree in 1930 and her Ph.D. in math from Yale University in 1934. In 1941, Hopper studied under mathematician Richard Courant (APS 1953) at his Institute for Mathematics and Mechanics at New York University.

Timothy Berners-Lee is known for being the "father of hte world wide web." He created enquire, which ended up being the conceptual ground work for the web. In addition, Berners is also the co-founder of Intrupt.com and co-founder and president of the Open Data Institure in London.

Tim Burners-Lee Majored in physics at Queen's College at Oxford University and became a software sonsultant. He also spent time at CERN. He then returned 40 years later to become a member of the Department of Computer Science.
